Simple Stories Project Life Layout

Today I’m showing off an Ink Road project I did using some fun Simple Stories products. I just love the bright colours they use. Below I’ve linked to everything I used on the layout – use code ‘odessa’ to get 10% off your order!

I found this burst of photos on my phone from when my oldest son went off to camp on his own for the first time and knew I had to make a layout showing his excitement! I was so excited about the Simple Stories Sunshine and Happiness cut apart page that I had to use it. It’s just so cheerful! I combined it with some Simple Stories Washi Tape and embellished with some Simple Stories Brads (love that they are stick on!!) and Carpe Diem Ephemera (which is just so fun!). I also used some Simple Stories Word Stickers to fill in the blanks on one of the 3×4 cut outs.  I added in some Amy Tangerine stickers to finish it off. I just wanted a layout with bright colours that showed off how really excited he was.

Pink and gold are the best Project Life colours

I just finished this sweet Project Life layout using my favourite colours, gold and pink! Everything here is available from theinkroad.com and super super cute! Don’t forget to use code ‘odessa’ for 10% off!

I just used a few things on this layout. I started with the Project Life Sweet Edition Instagram Cards because I just love the colours and gold foil on them. I combined it with the We R Memory Keepers Wildflower ephemera for more gold foil, some Heidi Swapp Washi Tape that went well and these Amy Tangerine Thick and Thin Thickers. And voila. A cute shiny Project Life layout.

This Project Life Layout is all about Peonies

IMG_6966

For this week’s Ink Road layout, I am all about the peonies! I’ve been hoarding the “Stop and Smell the Peonies” card from the MAMBI Happy Planner Pocket Card set for too long, but knew I had to use it on this layout! That gold foil! The My Fav card is from the same set. So lovely. All that pink! Everything I used on this layout is from Me and My Big Ideas. I love their stuff. Lara has some great MAMBI stuff in stock – don’t forget to use code ‘odessa’ when you check it out for 10% off!

The washi I used is all from the MAMBI Happy Planner Peony Washi tube, because well, of course! What goes better? I have seriously almost killed that roll of peony washi tape, it’s just so pretty! I used the MAMBI Alpha & Phrase stickers in gold to go with the gold foil. I love gold and pink together. Because I didn’t have a Project Life sleeve that fit both a 6×6 photo and some 3x4s well, I broke out the fuse to make it work! in the small 2×6 space leftover, I cut down one of the gorgeous papers from the Expandable Blank and White MAMBI pad to slide in there with a few MAMBI stickers to finish off the layout. It’s a little more simple than my usual layout, but I really like how pretty and girly it turned out.

A Party Without Cake is not worthy of a Project Life Layout

I made this meringue adorned cake for a really dear friend’s moving away party so this Beyonce stamp from The Ink Road – it’s not in the shop anymore, but there have been a couple of really awesome limited stamps from Lara like this One in a Melon collaboration with Right at Home!

Sometimes I have a little too much fun working on layouts. Hahah. This Illustrated Faith Homespun Alpha is tdf! It’s just so useable. And it’s a yardstick finish so if you can’t find it in the colour you want, it’s easy to colour yourself! Paired with the cake card from The Happy Planner Pocket Card set, this little section of my layout makes me giggle. Planner or Project-Life-er, that pocket card set is pretty great. It has a lot of fun sayings (AND GOLD FOIL).

Crazy Fun

Here’s another Project Life layout from my travel album. I love saving things to add to my albums, in this case, a Kate Spade bag. I combined it with some awesome things from The Ink Road – use code ‘odessa to get 10% off!

I actually finished my whole trip album this week. PHEWF. I am going to maybe try doing a flip through video, but in the mean time, you can check out this hyperlapse on my instagram.

I stamped right on the bag using the Elle’s Studio Jonah Alpha. I made some more space for journalling using the Amy Tangerine Better Together Cardstock Sticker Book – I am on my second one already, these stickers are perfect for adding to photos and cut out paper to make some easy space for journaling. I used a Mambi Think Happy Thoughts Pocket Pages card with some Maggie Holmes Bloom Ephemera to add a bit more pretty.

I also added a fun shaker page using one of my fav collections, Pink Paislee C’est la Vie. The top is a fun cut from the C’est la Vie Clear Acetate sheet. In the middle there is some of a super pretty Kennedy Grace Creations Sequin mix with some C’est la Vie Ephemera. The final pocket is another cut from the C’est la Vie Clear Acetate Sheet and some pretty bits cut out from the C’est la Vie 6×6 paper pad.

Finally, I added some of the Dear Lizzy Happy Place Hardcover Thickers to this photo (they are SUCH nice Thickers – possibly my favourite ever) with some flamingoes from the My Mind’s Eye on Trend 2 Ephemera Pack.
